Texts tended with intention
From raw words to a text ready for publishing: I craft, rewrite or rethink your copy, weaving together linguistic, editorial and marketing skills.
Every aspect is covered, and so are you.
Marketing know-how, editorial background, native cultural instinct for copy that lands
I work with your team and bring the linguistic, editorial and marketing skills your Italian content needs.
One point of contact, fewer back-and-forths, work that's ready to publish.

SEO translation and transcreation
A word-for-word translation reads fine but barely moves the ranking needle. What actually works is treating each language as its own product. Native keyword research, content adaptation to the local market and internal and external link-building: that’s where I start.

Technical translation and app localisation
I only work in industries I know: cosmetics, lifestyle, fitness, IT, telecom, and publishing, because real experience in your field makes terminology research accurate to your brand and clear to your users. The wrong term scares users away before they even notice why.

Copywriting (in Italian)
Landing pages, blog, email, social, plus design if you need it: everything written directly in Italian. And because I understand English and German, I can see what works in your original campaign and recreate that same effect for an Italian audience.
Additionally, you can contact me if you need...

Editing and revision of AI-created content
Whether it's a blog post that needs polishing or an AI-translated text that needs a human pass I take what's already there and get it bring it to a publish-ready state: correcting, rewriting or adjusting... whatever the text actually needs.

DTP and design services
No need for a separate freelance that sorts out the design afterwards: I can translate your InDesign or Figma files and fix the design myself (text expansion, overset text, anything that shifts when Italian runs longer than English) or create your social media posts on Canva.
Just one person: the one you'll actually talk to.
Hi, I'm Elena Volpato
Who am I? Trained as a translator, with a bachelor's and a master's in publishing and a recent shift more and more towards copywriting... yes, I'm sort of three people in one, but it's all more connected than it sounds.
Publishing gave me design skills, and it's also how I ended up learning HTML (Fun fact: ebooks, after all, are just very simple, compressed HTML pages). From there came SEO, which is how I first got into marketing translation, and now copywriting. Each step led to the next, without me really planning it that way.
How do I work? I like to be a friend before I'm a supplier. I want to be the person who slots into your team without friction; someone you technically hired from outside, but who works like they've been there from day one.
