Hello, my name is Elena.
Born in 1993 with the gift of the gab, avid consumer of TV shows in all languages and the sole owner of this website. Although raised in Italy, I have a very British obsession with tea and a German address.
Whether I am translating marketing content or proofreading a nice book my goal is the same: to give you a text that will win Italian’s heart over.

A language is a living organism and so are my translations. For as much as I love grammar, I also love travelling, reading books, watching TV, listening to music and bonding with locals. This has given me something more that is invaluable in my job: a deep connection with my source languages.

My name is Elena Volpato and since 2018 I offer professional Italian language services as a freelancer. I translate from English and German into Italian or I dive into any kind of content and read it, edit it, and polish it to obtain an error-free, clear and natural-sounding text.
This website is the place where my interest in my own mother tongue (Edit) and my passion for foreign languages (Versa) come together… and it bears my initials!
